Why a 2-Year Contest?

A Personal Note:

My name is Aloysius Dalli and I created ICGN because I felt that young people should have their Own On Line Newspaper and a vehicle (a method) by which Children will be able to communicate with one another, Worldwide.

(ICGN belongs to all of the Children in the World, no matter where situated)

If you visit www.icgn.us you would see that I created a beginning of a Children's Newspaper. It has a long way to go before ICGN will be considered a Real Children's Newspaper. 

I have done my part, now it is up to you… Do you want to see ICGN succeed as a Children's Newspaper? If you do, you may want to start by sending to us your thoughts and ideas as to how to improve ICGN's appearance as well as its substance. 

Who would no more than a young person as to what other young people like?

Do not just criticize, that is easy to do. Instead send us "Solutions"… if your ideas sound good, we would make the changes you suggested and your writing would be published. 

We welcome all suggestions from Children on how to improve ICGN. If you are very young or if English happens not to be your language, do not worry about spelling or how you express yourself, we want your "Bright ideas" on how ICGN, should be presented… You may even write in your own language if you wish since we have translators…

Even though I have written much and also created ICGN's "Trilogy" (The three (3) Initiatives, (Help Save the Forests, Help Needy Children and Help Promote World Peace) as already stated, ICGN needs much work to be considered as a serious Newspaper. That is the reason that I came up with this 2-Year Contest. By so doing, all of you have 2 years to help improve your Children's Global Newspaper. 

This is assuming that you want to help make ICGN a Great Newspaper? 
To help make it look Attractive, Fun to visit, containing great different positive Articles written by Children for Children.

As to the Contest, does this mean that you have plenty of time to write that Winning Essay, since the Contest will run for 2 Years? Not so, you should start writing Articles for ICGN almost immediately. However, it would be best to first visit www.icgn.us and read all of the text that I wrote before you get started…How else are you going to know how to help make ICGN become a respectful Children's Newspaper? 

With your input, I am sure that ICGN will be a "FUN" Newspaper to visit and read! A Newspaper that other Children would love to not only visit but to also participate in by offering their ideas to help improve ICGN and write Articles for other Children to read. 

Adults are not allowed to write any Articles for ICGN, however they are invited to read your fresh, bright Good Clean Articles. 

If you tell your Parents, Guardians, Teachers and Friends about your wanting to participate by becoming a Newspaper writer and a ICGN Contestant, I feel confident that they will support you, 100%.
